FOLLANDOTE A TI MISMO consists of a  group of images where the subject matter are different groups of children form South Central Los Angeles. These photographs are directed and staged situations where the children were asked to scream in different manners, fill their mouths with as much air as they could, look at the sun or negate their faces to the spectator. Issues of institutional behavior, individual, primal or group activities structure the composition of the works
These staged situations are directed performances for a camera, configuring a  more pictorial image that also focuses on issues of portrait, representation and cultural visibility, exploring at the same time psychological charged states.
