It proposes agility in urban development. It is part of an ideal planimetry facilitating movement and circulation. The roundabout is inserted in a visually regulated public space. In these places, public administrations tend to \u00abcultivate\u00bb monumental sculptural proposals that paraphrase modernity but lack any poetic <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">of<\/span> conceptual resistance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This proposal has been rejected on several occasions by city councils of difierent towns. The question that quickly arises is how simple plants &#8230; common brambles generate such rejection. Obviously it is not something with an expensive budget, compared to the phenomenon of rotundism where bronzes, corten steel and other heavy masses impose themselves upfront to the viewer\u00a0 in an exemplary manner. It is not something whose maintenance is complex for <span style=\"text-decoration: line-through;\">the<\/span> municipal gardeners. What would the problem be?\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There is something about ROTONDA Zarzal that might bother, that does not belong to the ordered world of civic norms in which the passer-by is involved. If a bramble in the middle of the field or in some orchards seems to us the most natural and innocuous enviroment, it seems that its relocation in the urban terrain might pose a conflict. The same plants, the same image seem to generate different readings. Do they enunciate a kind of freedom, a non regulated form of behavior in the city?<\/p>\n<p>Do these brambles generate another ecological awareness of learning and survival?
