The WORKING OFFICES

 

 

The full offices of Espai d’art Contemporani de Castelló, originally located upstairs, were displaced to the exhibition space. They were reinstalled following their original configuration. The set up was immediately situated right after one opens the doors of the institution. Visitors were part of the same set up upon entering the exhibition. The roles of all participants remain the same but open to the possibility of objectification.

All objects as well as workers of the institution were reinstalled in this location maintaining their original functions. The institution kept working and running their programs, while their action, conversations, decisions as well as any material were fully exposed in transitional forms tending to a quasi ready-made. The floor area was fully covered with white carpet. The full archive and all legal documents were part of the display and free to be viewed by anyone, by request, for being public documents.
